Playing in the sky

Yesterday I was excited to hear the jets fly over head. When I popped out thinking I’d see the jets from a near by airbase I saw it was Canada’s Snowbirds flying over! I didn’t get a great shot but here they are… playing in the sky.

They must have been getting ready for their show in Toronto this weekend. For them Toronto is mear seconds across the lake from me.

Canadian International Air Show: It’s the last weekend at The Ex and what better way to celebrate the end of summer than to spend some time there on Labour Day weekend and see the planes at the 65th annual air show, including CF-18 Hornets, CF Snowbirds and many more. Plus there will be Great War Flying Museum aircraft on display. Saturday to Monday, 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Exhibition Place. Free with CNE admission.   {Source: City News Toronto}

  1. Summer is over … and it really hardly began due to poor weather. 😦 I hear it is hot just in time for the kids to head back to school. We have been back so long now we are all pooped out and dreaming it was a long weekend 😉

      1. Yes a shame. I just didn’t have the energy and spent 2 days in bed. I didn’t completely shake it and had a relapse here. I think I haven’t returned to 100% yet and feeling tired and drained. A normal part of the start of the school year, but this year seems harder with not being 100% Spent the weekend relaxing and hoping that will help.
