Phoneography: Challengers choice: Night Photography

This week’s photos are not meant to be ‘wow’ photos. I just wanted to try night photos on my phone and these are some of my first attempts. The moon was fairly full and wispy clouds were floating by. The photos are odd and fun but didn’t come close to capturing the reason I stopped to take the photos. LOL Perhaps a better category for these would be abstraction?  Oh well, being a photographer isn’t as much about the end product as the time spent finding the photos.  😉

In future,  I will take some time to try more settings, and try to move away from the man-made light “noise”.

  1. The beauty of shooting at night with a mobile phone is the utter unpredictability of what you’ll get! In a way, it’s a gift that one has no control over settings. These are such a great example of that. The one on the top left grabbed me, and you’ve inspired me to do a bit more iPhoneography at night.
