Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge ~ Winter Street

I love driving down this street. It’s quiet and tree lined. 🙂

“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”
Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

Finally a little snow this winter! It’s a couple months later than I thought I’d be taking this photo. It’s a follow up of sorts to my late summer photo on the same street.

Kindly visit Lens and Pens by Sally to see some more from this weeks nature theme.

  1. Today it finally feels as though winter has taken hold. Last week we had a day in the 70s. Thanks for the touch of snow, which is probably the best part of the blur of winter days and nights. It adds to the feeling of hibernation and introspection. Happy days ahead in the New Year. Happy Photo Challenge.
