I am grateful for the beginning of a new month. Last month was long and stressful. It was overflowing with emotions and I’m just exhausted from it all. A funeral, a car accident, end of school year, an high school graduation and a few good-byes.
Having a few quiet hours as my teens sleep in (summer time bonus) is quiet and refreshing. I can feel the stress of the events; the stress of too much people time, cracking and slipping away.
I am so grateful for this time to recharge and regroup. It’s wonderful to listen to the birds and the summer breeze sipping on my iced latte.

“Look closely and you will find that people are happy because they are grateful. The opposite of gratefulness is just taking everything for granted. ”
