Head in the Clouds

For this week’s WordPress Photo Challenge, Variations on a Theme, I knew what I’d share as I have endless photos of clouds.

Cloudspotting! I never realized that there is a word for it! ❤

They fascinate me with their ever-changing shapes and the way the play with the colours and light.  Clouds never fail to provide scope for the imagination.

“when we look up, it widens our horizons. we see what a little speck we are in the universe, so insignificant, and we all take ourselves so seriously, but in the sky, there are no boundaries. No differences of caste or religion or race.”
― Julia GregsonEast of the Sun

When you’re a kid, you lay in the grass and watch the clouds going over, and you literally don’t have a thought in your mind. It’s purely meditation, and we lose that.
