It’s hot and very humid and I don’t want to go outside. I thought I’d share one of the first pops of colour from this Spring. When temperatures were beautiful like this azalea bush.
Thank you, Cee for hosting the FOTD Challenge.
Inspired by Cee’s FOTD yesterday I dug up this photo from a couple months ago.
It’s as if this normally shy flower is sharing its beautiful secret.
- Botanical name: Fritillaria meleagris
- Common name: Snake’s head fritillary
- Family: Liliaceae
- Plant Type: Bulb
Last of the spring days. Spring according to the calendar but the temperature was saying summer! Perfect day to wander by the creek.
This is posted for entry to Cee’s Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).
During our wanders…you can’t really call them walks when I stop to take photos so often!… the daisies were pop’n up everywhere. This cluster of not-yet-awake daisies caught my eye.
This is in response to Cee’s FOTD Photo Challenge
