Fine Art Photographer ~ Daring to be Different

I try to be mindful of many of these tips but what jumped out as I read these tips was

11 – Buying a DSLR and never learning how to use it.

This happens a lot, people spend a lot of money on buying a DSLR and then use it on auto all the time, which in the end means it is a very expensive and large compact camera.  It is best if you buy one that you do learn how to use it to it’s best ability, really see what you can do with it.

This holds true for every camera. Many of us use our phone’s camera. I enjoy the photos where I’ve selected manual much more!

My goal over the next while is to learn more about how to use the features that my Asus ZenFone 3 Laser.  I’ve had it for almost a year now and sort of used various features. It has yet to impress me. In fact, recently I pulled my old Window’s phone out to use it’s camera when I went to visit the frozen Niagara Falls because my Asus couldn’t handle more than 5 minutes in the cold and was taking meh photos. (I am always fighting with focus on this phone’s camera.)

I hope you enjoy Leanne’s article as much as I have. There’s a lot of useful information!

There Is Never Enough Time But There Is Now (reblogged from: Flingo)

This is when I feel myself expand, just a little, into the space she’s left behind. There are hours now when I am finally able to twirl in a circle of my own without scraping motherhood’s walls. – Lisa Sadikman

Wow.
That moment when you read the words; the ones that match your feelings but you didn’t quite know you wanted to say them?
Does that make sense?
Regardless, this is a wonderful post about the time before you blink and she’s in university. Logo_1489978546491
