I am still pleased with how that photo turned out but I think my favorite is…. one titled Scale or maybe my favorite is… a Wish. How do I pick?

Smile:-) WP Photo Challenge

Today’s photo is a few years old. The memory of this trip always makes me smile. It was a special trip to one of my happy places.

WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Texture

Photography is a primarily visual medium, but we can experience it with more than one sense. This week, focus on the tactile element of the objects you shoot, whether it’s one distinct quality — softness, smoothness, graininess, or any other texture you find interesting — or a combination of several within one frame.

Bridges ~ WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge

I often wonder why this bridge was built? What is it connecting?

But then I think of how wonderful it is to find a little red bridge under a beautiful, old, green willow tree and I smile. That is reason enough.

Is it the bridge that connects Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada to Niagara Falls, New York, USA? An invisible line divides the two cities into separate counties. It’s the world renowned view, the thrill of all that water, that connects the two cities.

One of my favourite views includes this bridge. It connects the two sides of a steam. What is symbolizes is our place to connect with nature.
